5 Spring Trends I’m Here For

TREND POST.png

Pandemic fatigue is no joke! What better way to combat the blues than with a shopping spree?? As we approach our one year of quarantine anniversary — let’s spark a little excitement and add some freshness to our spring wardrobes. We still want to look bomb even while working from home!

Here are five trends I’m here for this spring season:

Statement Trousers

Ditch sweatpants and leggings for wide leg, roomy trousers. They’re understated and chic and not to mention super comfortable. Opt for a pleated or satin pair for a polished touch. Pair with a puffed sleeve blouse and a strappy block sandal or a simple tee and a court sneaker.

Prints

Get an instant serotonin burst with bright, psychedelic prints and vintage florals. Flowers signify a new beginning and who isn’t in need of that right now? Look like a vision in all over print or mix and match!

Sporty Wear

Since leggings and sweats are going nowhere soon, consider sporty wear as a fresh take on loungewear. Comfy clothes haven’t reached their fatigue point yet, I’m definitely ready to add more comfortable options to my closet. To inject freshness into a favorite fit, try swapping trousers or jeans for track pants or a denim jacket for a half zip.

Puff Sleeves

Continuation of the Victorian Pouf-sleeve is truly for everyone. Even a mini puff creates a bold silhouette. Weart it under a sweater vest with leather pants and heeled thong sandals or with a mini skirt and flatform wedges.

Cutouts

I tend to stay away from oversized cutouts, however they don’t have to be too revealing to make a statement. Even the smallest of cutouts, as shown in the pieces below, can make a big impact. Get ready to see a lot more of them this season!
